Description:
Muscle & Grace photos celebrate physical culture & sport
Muscle & Grace highlights the Stark Collection's rich photography collections in an exhibition of more than 650 photographs, thematically arranged in 10 galleries, each highlighting a different aspect of sport and physical culture. Open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 512-471-0995 to schedule group visits or write jan@starkcenter.org.

Themes include Tom Landry and the Dallas Cowboys; bodybuilding; strongmen and strongwomen; Joe and Betty Weider; Arnold Schwarzenegger; Muscle Beach; Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite and Harvey Penick from the world of golf. Of special note are the more than 150 photographs of New York photographer Stephen Green-Armytage who worked for Life and Sports Illustrated for many years.

Visitors are also welcome to view the fine art in the Teresa Long Gallery at the Center.
