Houston native Phuoc Anh-Thi Nguyen made the most of her summer abroad in Denmark. She received credit for two courses that she was able to transfer toward her biology/pre-pharmacy degree at UT. She stayed with a host family and learned about Danish culture. She also received a new perspective on the different ways health care can be delivered.

Studying abroad is very tough yet very rewarding. I have lots of friends who studied abroad and when they came back, they appreciate more the place where they studied and gained respect to its norm and culture.
Go Anne! I had no idea you studied abroad. I really wish I chose to study abroad during undergrad. Hopefully I'll get another chance in pharmacy school :)
