      I may be wrong, but isn't there fairly conclusive evidence that the temperature of the earth is rising? 'Global Warming' is a ridiculously politicized buzz-word, but isn't the debate more about MAN-MADE Global Warming? I've read alternate theories (sunspots and solar heat cycles, for example) that investigate potential REASONS for global warming, but I thought the increasing temperature trends were fairly well-documented and accepted? I'm not making any assertion; just my Socratic $0.02
