Sounds to me like some real progress is being made here. Through research comes new medicines, treatments and treatment facilities. Scarcely 10 years ago having a disease like Lung Cancer was a definite death sentence. I know because I lost my mother to the disease. Here we are 10 years later and I too have suffered through the very same disease. I am however more fortunate than she was in that I am a survivor of this deadly plague on humanity. I owe the fact that I am still alive to research. So I say to the researchers everywhere, thank you, you have definitely helped to save my life. Without your dedication and perseverence I don't know where I would be today.
