      Self-driving vehicles are actually already a reality; Google has its own fleet of self-driving cars. It looks like hybrids are the best choice right now when it comes an eco conscious method of transportation. Electric cars are the future but mileage needs to be improved first.

      I wish transportation planners would focus on self-driving vehicles, and automakers could develop modular vehicles. Perhaps I'm being an idealist, but it seems like safety and environmental concerns should trump capitalism in this case.
