Michelle P. Goolsby

Michelle P. Goolsby is a graduate of The University of Texas where she received her B.B.A. – Accounting, with Honors in 1980 and of The University of Texas School of Law where she received her J.D., with Honors in 1983.
Ms. Goolsby joined Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF) in 1998 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, Development, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs. Her responsibilities include oversight of all legal functions, corporate governance and liaison with Board of Directors; various strategic initiatives, including corporate development (M&A), corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability; government relations and corporate communications.
Ms. Goolsby was previously a partner with the law firm of Winstead Sechrest & Minick where she practiced corporate and securities law from 1988 to 1998. She also served as Chair of the firm’s Business Section and served on the firm’s Compensation, Practice Development and Recruiting Committees.
Ms. Goolsby is a Founding Member of The Center for Women in Law at The University of Texas School of Law and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Organic Center and the Texas Ballet Theater. She is a member of the International Dairy Foods Association, Grocery Manufacturers of America/Food Products Association and the Texas State and American Bar Associations.
Ms. Goolsby and her husband, Bryan Goolsby, also a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, are active members of Highland Park United Methodist Church. They reside in Dallas and have five children.
