Mike A. Myers

Mr. Mike A. Myers has been Chairman of the Board and Owner of Myers Financial since 1969. He is also President of Myers Development Corporation which develops numerous residential communities across the state of Texas and Missouri. He has been Chairman of the Board and CEO of Myers Bancshares, a Texas bank holding company that operates six banks.
Mr. Myers has served on the Board of Directors of NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ companies. He also has an extensive background in developing, operating, and owning country clubs such as Woodhaven Country Club-Fort Worth, Texas; Woodlake Country Club-San Antonio, Texas; Wood Crest Country Club-Grand Prairie, Texas; Oakmont Country Club-Denton, Texas; and LakeRidge Country Club-Lubbock, Texas, and The University of Texas Golf Club – Austin, TX
Mr. Myers has also held numerous positions in various organizations including The Dallas Assembly (past President); Dallas Citizens Council; Young Presidents Organization (past Treasurer); The University of Texas at Austin Development Board, Chancellor’s Council (Chairman), Foundation for Texas Excellence (Co-Founder), Longhorn Education Foundation (past President), Commission 125 (1983, 2005), College of Business Administration Advisory Council, Dallas Community College Foundation (Chairman), Parkland Hospital Foundation, and Cotton Bowl Athletics Association. In 2008, Mr. Myers was inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
