Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez is with the firm of Rodriguez & Nicolas, L.L.P., a law firm in Brownsville, Texas. He received his B.A. in 1965 from George Washington University and his J.D. in 1968 from the University of Texas at Austin. While in law school, Eduardo was elected Class Agent. He also served as Research Assistant to Professor David Robertson on Admiralty and Federalism and Research Assistant to L. Hamilton Lowe on Texas Practice, Volume 6, Remedies.
Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez served as President of the State Bar of Texas from 2005 to 2006. He is currently Texas State Delegate to the American Bar Association.

In 2000, Eduardo received the Honorary Order of the Coif from the University of Texas School of Law; and he served as President of the University of Texas Law Alumni Executive Committee in 2001; The Chancellor's Council Executive Committee of The University of Texas System, 2006-2009; Chairman, 2007-2008 of The University of Texas Brownsville Development Board. In 2007, Mr. Rodriguez received the Good Apple Award from Texas Appleseed.
In his years of practice, Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez has been involved in most of the major litigation in South Texas trying over 200 cases to verdict. He has a trial practice representing clients from across Texas and the United States. He is one of the premier defense attorneys in South Texas, having been recognized in 1998 by Texas Lawyer as Best Defense Lawyer in South Texas. He has been a Super Lawyer since 2003.
