Each year, the Board of Advocates organizes ten intramural advocacy competitions and sponsors over a dozen interscholastic advocacy competitions. During our intramural competitions (in which UT Law students compete with one another), local attorneys serve as judges and provide critiques following each round. For our interscholastic competitions (in which teams composed of three to four UT Law students compete with students from other law schools), local trial attorneys volunteer their time to coach our teams.
If you would like to compete, stop by the BOA office in room 1.304 of the Connally Center and sign up! You can pick up all applications and instructions for the competitions in the BOA Office.
