Graduate Portfolio Program in Dispute Resolution

Research Paper & Symposium

Agenda for April 4, 2008 Symposium

The Portfolio Program will sponsor at least one symposium each academic year. The symposium will feature presentations by renowned dispute resolution professionals and presentations of research papers by Portfolio students. Students will be required to attend each symposium held during the student's enrollment in the Portfolio Program.

In order to complete the Portfolio requirements, each student must prepare and orally present at least one research paper to the symposium. The research paper for students in a Masters program or the Law School must constitute a contribution to the dispute resolution field. The research paper of a student in a Doctoral program must constitute a contribution to the theory of dispute resolution. A research subcommittee of the faculty steering committee will evaluate the student papers.
