Certificate Requirements
Global Energy, International Arbitration and Environment LL.M.
2012-2013 Certificate Requirements:
To obtain a certificate in Global Energy, International Arbitration, or Environmental Law, an LLM student will be required to meet UT Law’s requirements for the LLM degree and take a minimum of 14 hours from the following list of courses, with at least 9 hours from one subject area. The remaining hours may be distributed among either one or two of the other course areas below at the student’s option. For example, a typical program would be:
- 3 Energy courses AND
- 2 Arbitration courses OR 2 Environmental courses; OR 1 Arbitration course AND 1 Environmental course.
Following is a partial list of courses offered in each of the three subject areas. Not every course is offered every year, and additional courses are offered from time to time that meet the certificate requirements.
