Human Rights Scholars

Human Rights Scholars make up a core group of J.D. students actively involved with the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice. These students have a strong background and demonstrated interest in pursuing career opportunities in international human rights law and advocacy. Each Human Rights Scholar receives a substantial stipend and the opportunity to work closely with the Center's programs and planning. Human Rights Scholars also receive assistance with internship placement and participate in collaborative research on human rights topics.

The Rapoport Center proudly announces the Human Rights Scholars for 2007-2008. Third-year law student Christie Turner and second-year law students Brett Kaufman and Jason Steed, were selected on the basis of their academic credentials, leadership skills, and dedication to human rights careers.
