About the Justice Center
The William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law promotes
equal justice for all through legal education, scholarship and
public service by:
- Teaching students to participate in pro bono and public
interest law throughout their careers
- Engaging in research and scholarship on legal subjects
affecting underserved individuals and communities
- Educating students and attorneys about public interest issues
through academic and clinical courses, lectures and
conferences
- Creating public service opportunities for students and
alumni
The Center's name honors Judge William Wayne Justice, '42, for his
commitment to public service and equal justice for over fifty
years.
