The William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law is developing important new programs for the Law School community:

• Research projects, conferences and lectures on legal topics affecting the underserved

• Expanded academic internship courses giving students hands-on public service experience

• Scholarships, summer stipends, and post-graduate fellowships for students/alumni engaged in public interest work

• Public service recognition events

• Orientation program, special classes, and public service projects for first year students about increasing access to justice

• Awards to student and attorney leaders in pro bono, government service, and public interest law

• A public interest scholar-in-residence program

• Pro bono projects for students, faculty and alumni
