“That they may truly and impartially administer justice”

Student Awards

The Justice Center fosters engagement in public interest activities by recognizing student commitment to public service and pro bono. The Center administers the University Co-op Public Interest Awards for Graduating Students, which honor students for extraordinary support of public interest activities during law school and following graduation. "Public interest" includes work in the non-profit, government and legislative sectors and pro bono/volunteer activities. In 2008, the Law School awarded six $4500 awards.

Funding for the Awards is provided by a generous grant from the University Co-op.

Applications are accepted in the spring. For more information, contact justicecenter@law.utexas.edu.
