The Actual Innocence Clinic is sponsored by the Texas Center for Actual Innocence (TCAI), which is housed at the Law School. The officers of TCAI co-teach the clinic, and the officers and the TCAI Staff Attorney supervise clinic students. TCAI uses a very strict definition of “actual innocence” in screening cases.
