The Clinic is open to students who have completed their first two semesters.

6 credits (pass/fail) — offered Fall 2007, Spring 2008

Students must register for Law 397C and 397D, for a total of six credits.


The Actual Innocence Clinic is sponsored by the Texas Center for Actual Innocence (TCAI), which is housed at the Law School. The officers of TCAI co-teach the clinic, and the officers and the TCAI Staff Attorney supervise clinic students. TCAI uses a very strict definition of “actual innocence” in screening cases.
