The size and depth of the Law School's commitment to intellectual property is easiest to see in the range of courses it offers. The breadth of course offerings gives students great flexibility in designing their own programs. A representative list of courses follows.

These are classes that introduce the fundamental principles of intellectual property law. These courses are highly recommended to students who think they may be interested in the field.Introduction to Intellectual Property offers an overview of the entire field, while the Copyright, Patent, and Trademark courses provide more in-depth coverage of those individual fields.
Students who have taken one or more of the basic courses in intellectual property law can choose from a wide range of advanced offerings in the subject. Many of these courses are small seminars in which students have the opportunity to pursue a topic of particular interest in depth.
In addition to the courses offered in intellectual property law, the Law School offers a number of courses in related subjects which may be of interest to students of intellectual property. Many of these courses cover subject areas in which intellectual property rights are among the issues raised.
