Financial Aid

Admitted applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply for financial aid. Interested students should contact the Law School’s financial aid office at (512) 232-1130 or LawFinAid@law.utexas.edu.

International students must have sufficient funding to finance the full course of study, through personal resources, government or private funding. Scholarships and financial aid for foreign students are not generally available through the Law School. However, we are usually able to offer a few partial scholarships. All admitted applicants are considered for these scholarships.

International students are encouraged to seek financial aid and scholarship funds from sources in their home countries. For assistance in locating sponsoring organizations, contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, or the U.S. Information Agency in your country.
