Third Court of Appeals Featured in
UT Law Advocacy Program's Judges in Residence Series

The Third Court of Appeals will sit at the UT Law School on Wednesday, October 24th, as part of the Advocacy Program's Judges in Residence series. Oral arguments will be heard in the Kraft W. Eidman Courtroom, one of the Law School's fully functional, state-of-the-art facilities located in the Connally Center for Justice.

The UT Law School Advocacy Program's Judges in Residence series was designed as a vehicle for students to witness firsthand the intricate workings of the judicial system. For a few weeks each semester judges from various courts move their regular weekly dockets, special hearings and trials to the Kraft W. Eidman Courtroom. Students are invited to view the various judicial proceedings and often have the opportunity to discuss the day's events with the presiding judges. Over the course of a year, students and faculty may see district, federal, appellate and even the Supreme Court sitting in the Eidman Courtroom.
