Vince Harding was born in Humble, Texas. He attended the University of Houston for undergrad and was named the school’s Homecoming King in 2008. Upon his graduation from the University of Houston, he became the first individual in his immediate family to graduate from college. Since coming to UT Law, Vince has been both a member of the UT School of Law’s National ABA Moot Court Regional Semifinalist team and a staff member for the TEXAS JOURNAL ON WOMEN & THE LAW. He has served as community service chair for the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society, the logistics coordinator of the Pro Bono January Trip, a leader for the Christian Legal Society, and a representative for the Texas Law Fellowships. Outside of school, he has served as a mentor with BigBrothersBigSisters, a volunteer with the “Feed My People” organization,and a volunteer with the African American Mens and Boys Harvest Foundation. He is a passionate competitive person who has both a strong desire to be the best and to serve others.
