Michael Fritz

Michael Fritz is a 2002 law school graduate and is a principal at McKool Smith, PC.  Michael’s practice focuses on representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial, intellectual property, and bankruptcy-related litigation.  Michael has served as lead counsel in class actions, represented mass action plaintiffs, and individual businesses in various state and federal courts as well as international tribunals.  Michael’s clients include individuals and governmental entities, in addition to national and world-wide corporations and organizations. 
Over the last decade, Michael has secured for his clients a number of multi-million dollar awards, as well as settlements and other non-judicial resolutions.

Michael graduated from the law school with honors and is a member of the Order of the Coif.  He earned his B.A. with special honors in Economics in 1999 from the University of Texas at Austin.  Michael has been recognized on numerous occasions by the Texas Lawyer as a “Rising Star.”  Michael also serves as a member of the law school’s Dallas-area alumni steering committee and is active in the Dallas/Ft. Worth law school alumni community.

Michael lives in Dallas with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
