Vicki Land graduated cum laude from The University of Texas School of Law in 1976. She was Order of the Coif and Note and Comment Editor, Texas Law Review. She earned her B.A. magna cum laude in 1972 from The University of Houston, where she was on the Mortar Board.
Ms. Land currently practices at King Cheng & Miller LLP in Pasadena, California. Her practice areas include Environmental Law, Eminent Domain and Inverse Condemnation, Business Litigation, Class Actions, and Real Estate and Land Use Litigation. She served as lead trial counsel in numerous business, class action, real estate and land use, unfair competition, trade secret, environmental, eminent domain and inverse condemnation cases.
Ms. Land is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Redevelopment Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She has been a lecturer for the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Counsel for Urban Economic Development, and the California Redevelopment Association. She is a founding member of The University of Texas School of Law's Center for Women in Law.
