Jonathan Quander serves as Counsel with Exxon Mobil Corporation's Law Department in Houston, Texas. He is currently assigned to ExxonMobil's Environmental & Safety Law group and provides counsel regarding corporate security investigations, personnel and facility security, human rights, OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, public health, and clinical health matters. He previously worked in ExxonMobil's Labor, Employment & Health Law group, where he provided traditional labor and employment counsel for multiple ExxonMobil divisions. He began his career with Exxon in 1999 in the Litigation group and represented the Company in tort, downstream commercial and employment litigation matters. Prior to joining Exxon, Jonathan was a litigation associate with Wickliff & Hall in Houston.
Jonathan is a 1993 graduate of Harvard College and 1996 graduate from UT Law. He was the President of the Student Bar Association (1994-1995) and a member of the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society. He is a member of the Texas State Bar and the Houston Bar Association. He has served as a board member with the Houston Area Urban League and on the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church (Houston) and Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross (Fairfax, Virginia).
Jonathan is married to Bethel Quander, who is also Counsel with ExxonMobil, and they are the proud parents of a son, Jack, and a daughter, Katie. Jonathan grew up in Austin and is a lifelong Texas Longhorns fan.
