The Tarlton Law Library’s physical plant is now twenty-five years old. Much has been done to modernize the facility, but much more remains to be done to meet the changing needs of the Law School students and faculty. Many of the Library’s conference rooms and its computer lab are used for regularly scheduled law school classes throughout the year. Those classrooms and labs require the introduction of sophisticated instructional technology, including ceiling mounted projectors, projections screens, and media consoles, to ensure and appropriate level of instructional support. Comprehensive upgrades are necessary if the Library is to continue to meet student and faculty expectations and if the investment in electronic information resources is to be maximized.
