Professor Jorge Contesse of the Universidad Diego Portales in Chile will present a talk entitled “Inter-American Constitutionalism: The Creation and Internalization of Human Rights.” The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Monday, February 20th, from 3:30-5:30pm, in TNH 3.142 at the University of Texas School of Law. In this session, students will review basic portions of Contract law with our own Professor David Sokolow in preparation for the July Bar exam. Envisioned as a follow-up to Texas Law Review’s groundbreaking 1991 symposium issue on financial innovation, also in partnership with Professor Hu, this event will bring together exceptional academics, practitioners, and regulators to present papers examining various elements of the current financial landscape.
