The Health Law & Bioethics Society will host a panel discussion on organ donation, specifically, creating a free market for organs. Our speakers will be Ms. Jody Gibson of the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance and Professor John Robertson. Topics covered will include federal law banning payment for organs, the organ donation process, and the implications of creating a free market for organs. Interested individuals will also be able to register as organ donors following the event. Open to students, staff, faculty and the public. Refreshments will be provided.
