Texas Law Students for Reproductive Justice educate, organize, and support law students to ensure that a new generation of advocates will be prepared to protect and expand reproductive rights as basic civil and human rights.

The bar exam includes 200 multiple choice questions in six basic areas of law, including Tort law. In this session, students will review basic portions of Tort law in preparation for the July Bar exam. Students will also answer sample bar questions on Tort Law, using skills learned in earlier sessions.

This is the second of two mandatory meetings for 2Ls and 3Ls who will be applying for judicial clerkships. UT Law Judicial Clerkship Advisors will discuss the clerkship application process in detail including summer deadlines and the two online systems students will be using to apply for clerkships.

UT Law students have a unique experience to get outside the classroom and hear about the trademark process from a USPTO Trademark Examiner. Craig Morris has served with the PTO since 1983 and is currently the head of the Trademark Outreach Program. Come hear Craig talk about what it is like on the other side of the trademark prosecution process.

Open to all students: membership in IPLS and TIPLJ not required.

Professor Sokolow will present a session entitled “Legal Analysis: Remedies Under the UCC” for 1Ls currently taking Contracts and working with the UCC. The session is a great explanation of remedies and how to analyze problems; students in the past have found the session incredibly helpful.
