Come hear about the detailed requirements and filings necessary to practice law in Texas. The first deadline for 1Ls is October 1, 2012! Presented by Lori Adelman, the Director of Character and Fitness for the Texas Bar.

Coming at a time of year when many students are navigating on-campus recruiting, Joshua Katz, partner at Bickerstaff Heath Delgago Acosta LLP, and Paulina Williams, senior associate at Baker Botts LLP, will offer perspectives on practicing environmental law in a law firm setting.

This session is for those UT students interested in hearing about career and internship opportunities with the U.S. Department of State. Presented by the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Initial Staff Meeting and Training Session for the Texas Environmental Law Journal.

This session is for those individuals interested in taking the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) that will be given in October 2013, or interested in taking a later administration of the test. Test taking strategies and recommended study and planning will be covered. Presented by the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

The Career Services Office is hosting an Open House for students interested in public service. Stop by for popcorn and cookies and meet the CSO staff. Learn about the many resources available to those interested in government and public interest careers.
