The Energy Center is hosting timely forum on clean technologies that can ultimately reduce greenhouse gas regulations. Come learn from local experts and business leaders about the tools available to get more companies to contribute to a lower carbon economy and reduce climate change through their technology and services.

This workshop is designed for 3Ls entering public interest law, government service, or any other field that qualifies for federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Explore federal loan repayment and loan forgiveness programs and the UT Law Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) in greater depth in a small group setting. Bring your laptops and your questions. 3Ls and LLMs are invited to get a jump on studying for the bar with these skills based sessions. Learn how to effectively write bar exam essay answers. TX bar questions will be used as examples.

Come to the Auditorium on Tuesday, April 8th at Noon, and learn all you need to know about applying for membership to any one of the twelve journals at the law school.

Sponsored by The Review of Litigation, this panel luncheon features associate attorneys from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, McKool Smith, and Sidley Austin, who will talk about what they did in law school that has helped them in their practice. They will discuss valuable classes they took and extracurricular activities they found to be helpful. Lunch will be served.

This two-hour CLE event will feature a talk from Professors Mark Kincaid and Tracy McCormack about effective mediation strategies for practicing litigators and also address some of the ethical issues that arise in mediation. Afterwards, appellate lawyer Tim Patton will discuss Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 91a motion practice. Attending attorneys will receive 2 hours of CLE credit.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Representatives will discuss the mission of the Institute and will provide information on their fellowships, internships and scholarships. Hosted by the LJB School of Public Affairs.

Join Professor Philip Postlewaite, the Director of the Tax Program at Northwestern University School of Law, to learn more about Northwestern's LL.M. in Taxation Program in Chicago, Illinois. The presentation is open to all J.D. students interested in pursuing the LL.M. degree on either a full-time or part-time basis following graduation. Lunch will be served.
