TJOGEL's Law Firm Career Panel represents a valuable opportunity to learn about practicing energy law in a law firm environment. Panelists include John B. Connally IV, '97, Vinson & Elkins; Olga Kobzar, '10, Scott, Douglass & McConnico; J.J. McAnelly, '93, Bracewell & Giuliani; Amber Meek, Kirkland & Ellis; Brock Naeve, '13, Latham & Watkins; Angela Olivarez, Jones Day; and Willie Wood, Norton Rose Fulbright. Together, these seven panelists have extensive experience in both litigation and transactional law and will be able to answer specific questions as students consider careers in energy law. The panel will be moderated by TJOGEL's Editor-in-Chief, Alex Robertson, with a Q&A session at the end.

The annual Gardere Mock Trial Tournament will consist of teams competing over the course of 5 weeks in front of local attorneys and judges. The teams will use their knowledge of evidentiary rules and trials skills attained during the Fall Litigation Institute to argue a variety of matters.
