Learn about judicial internships for the summer: What they are, what courts have them and how to apply. Four students who did judicial internships last summer will tell you about their experiences.

This two-day interactive course on working with public policy conflicts will focus on:

1. Understanding ADR models applied to government agency operations and public policy conflicts 2. Assessing situations for possible interventions by a mediator or facilitator 3. Experiencing stakeholder dialogue models through short demonstrations 4. Practicing facilitation techniques for inter-agency and inter-sector collaboration 5. Applying ADR

Come hear Maurice Emsellem, Program Director at the National Employment Law Project, and David Kirk, sociology professor at The University of Texas at Austin, speak on the significant role criminal records play in creating barriers to employment and the risks that come with a lack of meaningful employment opportunity.
