    Mock interview will be conducted in the Career Services Interview Suite (TNH 3.122) in Room N for those students who have secured an interview slot. There is no check in or check out. Simply go to Room 3.122 N, knock on the door at the time of your interview, and wait to be invited in. Mock interview will be 20-minutes in length followed by a 10-minute review. Professional attire is required.

    OCI 101 Webchat

    UT Law Career Services Office staff members will be hosting a live webchat on Wednesday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. CT (8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT) to answer questions you may have about what to expect during OCI such as finding your interview rooms, handling back-to-back interviews, finding out who the interviewing attorneys will be, interacting with recruiting coordinators, accepting/declining dinner and reception invitations, our interview cancellation policy, and much more. You are encouraged to send in your questions prior to the event to Angelica Salinas Evans, Associate Director for Career Services, at avans@law.utexas.edu with the subject line “Webchat Question”. Please submit questions no later than noon Wednesday, August 15.

    Interviewing and Etiquette 101

    Learn what you need to know to succeed at on-campus interviews. Ray Guy, '76, Litigation Partner, and Elizabeth Jensen, Legal Recruiting & Associate Programs Coordinator, with Weil, Gotshal & Manges (Dallas) and Morgan Matson, '99, President of Preferred Counsel Legal Placement Services (San Antonio), will discuss how to sell yourself in a 20-minute interview, what employers are looking for in an ideal candidate, common interview questions, and mistakes you should avoid. They will also talk about professional etiquette for receptions, meals, and correspondence, and answer any additional questions you may have. Lunch will be served.     Clerkship applicants must turn in application packets between 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Jeffers Courtroom. Then, come back to the mail out location between 2:00-4:30 p.m. to distribute your completed applications. You do not need to sign up for a distribution time slot.
