    Environmental Law Society Lunch

    ELS presents former members of UT Law's Environmental Law Society and the Texas Environmental Law Journal. The event will focus on environmental public interest and government jobs around Austin. Former members will talk about their experiences and how they got to where they are now.

    Guest speakers include Hannah Wilchar, Aaron Tucker, and Colleen Lenahan, attorneys at the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality, and Gabriel Clark-Leach, attorney at Environmental Integrity Project.

    PMF Info Session

    A UT Alumna and Presidential Management Fellow will provide information on this premier Fellowship Program. It is open to 2013, 2014 and 2015 graduates and is considered one of the best entries to high level leadership positions in the federal government. She will provide information on the application and assessment processes and will share her outstanding experience.

    TBLS Small Business Boot Camp

    TBLS will bring in professionals to train members on basic business organizational documents and go over issues and questions that small business owners frequently ask at clinics. Members will also be trained on clinic intake and client interview techniques.

    Environmental Law Practitioners Panel

    The Texas Environmental Law Journal invites all students to a panel discussion of members of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas as they share their prospective on various environmental practice areas and what a typical day in their practice is like. Learn what you can do now as a student to prepare for a career in environmental law. Panelists include Lyn Clancy, LCRA and TELJ ENRLS Editor-in-Chief; Myron Hess, National Wildlife Federation; Bane Phillippi, Weisbart, Springer, Hayes; Chris Smith, Thompson and Knight; Mary Smith, Office of the Attorney General, Environmental Protection Division.
