Are you working as a Research Assistant (RA) for a law school professor this year? Are you interested in working as an RA in the future? Do you just want to brush up on your research skills? To help you hit the ground running, the Tarlton Law Library is offering RA research training. All students are welcome to attend. The class is scheduled for Thursday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m. in Tarlton’s Computer Learning Center on the library’s third floor.
The Library will explain research techniques for resources most requested by faculty and discuss how to find electronic journals and databases that are offered through the UT General Libraries. They will explain administrative details like how to check out materials for faculty from various UT libraries and how to request an item from interlibrary loan. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have about library research, whether for yourself or your faculty member.
To reserve your spot in the class, please RSVP to Matt Steinke at firstname.lastname@example.org.
