On Monday, October 7, UT Law alumni public defenders will be on campus and available to chat. If you are interested in indigent defense or have questions about criminal law practice generally, come on out! Genesis Draper ’06, Assistant Federal Public Defender, Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Texas (Houston) and Aron Israelite ’09, Trial Attorney, Federal Defenders of San Diego Inc., and Mary Murphy ’11, Staff Attorney, Orleans Public Defenders who will speak with students before and after the “Career Exploration: Being a Public Defender” program from noon-1:00 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.
