Texas in Washington Recruitment Program | August 3, 2012
The Texas in Washington Recruitment Program will take place in employer offices in Washington, DC on Friday, August 3, 2012. All accredited law schools in Texas will be invited to participate. Employers will have an opportunity to interview 2Ls, 3Ls, domestic and foreign-trained LL.M.s, and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) in their offices.
Students will apply and submit all application materials online via the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module. In addition, employers will be able to view application materials and select interviewees online.

Important Dates
- Monday, March 26, 2012: Employer registration on the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module opens.
- Thursday, May 31, 2012: Employer registration deadline at noon (Central Time).
- Monday, June 18, 2012: Employers may begin reviewing student applications; preselect period on UT Law Symplicity opens.
- Saturday, June 30, 2012: Deadline for employers to submit interview awards is at noon (Central Time).

In lieu of participating in the job fair, our firm/organization would like to do a resume collect. How do we sign up for this service?
For employers who wish to solicit student resumes but are unable to participate in the job fair, you may select the resume collect option on the schedule request form (see instructions below).
How do we register?
Returning Employers
- Log in to the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module. Reminder: Your user name is your complete email address.
- Select [Interviews] from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
- Select the [Schedule Requests] tab.
- Click the [Request Schedule] button.
- Choose "Texas in Washington 2012" from the [Session ID] drop down menu.
- Enter "1" in the [Days Required] field.
- Complete the form.
- Note that the default mode is [Interviews].
- If you will not be conducting interviews during the job fair but wish to solicit student resumes, please be sure to select [Resume Collect].
- Please feel free to make additional scheduling notes in the box provided at the bottom of the form.
- Click the [Submit] button.
- Schedule requests are processed in the order they are received. You will receive an email confirmation when your request is approved.
New Employers
- Log in to the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module and select the [Register] tab.
- Complete the requested information and you will receive an email with your password as soon as your registration has been processed.
- Follow the instructions above for submitting your schedule request.
When will we receive the student materials?
Resumes and any other requested prescreen materials (transcripts, writing samples, etc.) will be available online on Monday, June 18, 2012.
When are interview selections due?
Interview selections, including alternates, must be completed by Saturday, June 30, 2012. Any scheduling requests, i.e., ending interviews before 5:00 p.m., beginning interviews later than 9:00 a.m., etc., are needed by this date as well.
