Judicial Clerkship Information for UT Law 3Ls

Your 3L year is when to send applications. If you wait until your 3L year to enter the process, you will have missed the summer hiring season, and you will find that many judges will have hired their clerks before classes begin in August. However, there are always a number of judges hiring throughout the 3L year.

The Judicial Clerkship Program will assist you in preparing your best application and in finding open positions. While you can send applications on your own, you will find that there are many advantages to participating in the Judicial Clerkship Program.

To get started, you should register on OSCAR (Online System for Clerkship Application and Review), the federal clerkship application portal, and read the UT Law Judicial Clerkship Blog
