Our career counselors can help you navigate your job search and offer guidance in balancing the demands of finding a job while in law school. Each one of our seven career counselors has a J.D. or LL.M., has practiced law, and specializes in counseling students interested in working in the corporate, government, judicial, law firm, or public interest sector, as well as those interested in pursuing alternative careers.
Students may schedule a one-on-one career counseling session with any of our career counselors, with first-year students (1Ls) being able to schedule an appointment to meet after October 15 of their first semester. As we may experience a higher volume of student requests at times, please allow enough time for counselors to review your resume and cover letters and for yourself to make revisions. To schedule an appointment, stop by the CSO in TNH 3.130, or contact us at 512-232-1150 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
