Improve your interviewing skills and receive feedback prior to Fall OCI by taking advantage of this opportunity to practice your interviewing skills with a CSO Career Counselor. All mock interviews will be held in the Career Services Interview Suite (TNH 3.122). Mock interviews will be 20-minutes in length followed by a 10-minute review.
Carefully follow the instructions below as you will need to either update your resume name or upload a copy before selecting your interview time. Unlike OCI and job fairs, you will not be bidding but actually selecting an interview slot. All mock interviews are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

In order to conduct a productive mock interview, career counselors need to know what employer you would like them to “represent”. Therefore, you must either do one of the following:
You will then be able to select your MIW: (Employer Name and Location) resume when you select your interview time.
Once your document is uploaded and converted to a PDF, be sure to open and view the PDF document to ensure that there have been no format alterations. If the format on your document changes during the conversion, you may need to modify the format of your Word document and upload it again. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact the CSO at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note about document limitation: Symplicity allows users to upload up to 10 documents at a time. For those who will be attaching a variety of documents to OCI, job fair and/or job bank applications, please note that once you've attached a document to an application, Symplicity saves a copy of the document to the application itself. Therefore, once you've applied to an employer with any one document, you can go back to the "Documents" section and delete that document in order to upload another document for a separate application.
Prepare for your mock interview by reviewing potential questions that may be asked of you. In addition, research the employer and interviewing attorney(s) as applicable.
All mock interviews will be held in the Career Services Interview Suite (TNH 3.122). Interview room locations will be posted at the front desk. We ask that you wear professional attire.
Please do not cancel your interview at the last minute as this is unfair to students who may have been unable to schedule a mock interview. If you have to cancel an interview, you MUST provide 24-hour notice and contact the Career Services Office immediately at 512-232-1150 or email@example.com.
