The Center for Women in Law will host its 4th Annual Women in Law Institute, formerly Leadership Boot Camp, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013.
The Women in Law Institute is a limited enrollment, all-day, intensive workshop for second and third-year law students, judicial clerks, and LL.M. students. Participants will hear speakers Karen Lockwood, Victoria Pynchon, and Diane Darling lecture on the essential skills for navigating a successful career in law, including effective communication, self-promotion, and networking. Following each lecture, students will work in small groups led by distinguished faculty to perfect these skills through practice and individualized critiques.
