Janiece has held some of the most influential roles in Texas including: Chairman of the Port of Houston Authority, the nation’s 2nd busiest port; Regent of the University of Texas System; membership on the Board of Directors of CenterPoint Energy, Inc., the third largest publicly traded natural gas delivery company in the United States; and membership on the Greater Houston Partnership’s Board of Directors, Healthcare Policy Advisory Committee, and Transportation Infrastructure Committee.
