The Scott J. Atlas Collection of Legal Materials on the Ricardo Aldape Guerra Case, 1982-2005 is now available for online viewing and documents the legal battle of Guerra, an undocumented Mexican immigrant wrongfully held on Texas Death Row for fifteen years before being exonerated in 1997. The collection was donated to the UT Libraries Human Rights Documentation Initiative by Scott J. Atlas, UT Law School alumnus and Guerra's defense attorney.
