Students are responsible for reporting any pro bono hours they wish to have counted towards their pro bono benchmarks. The Richard and Ginni Mithoff Pro Bono Program may verify student hours with project supervisors once they are recorded.
Students who commit to a pro bono project must complete that project. Not doing so places an undue burden on the host organization and jeopardizes the Mithoff Pro Bono Program’s ability to partner with the organization on future projects. Any student who, after accepting an assignment from a pro bono host organization, does not complete that assignment may be suspended from future participation in the Mithoff Pro Bono Program. Students with extenuating circumstances should speak individually with the Pro Bono Director.
