Johnson Presidential Library, University of Texas School of Law, Department of Government and College of Liberal Arts in a major symposium on the 200th anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase. Topics range from the constitutional difficulties surrounding the Louisiana Purchase and later, the admission of Texas to the United States, to constitutional anomalies regarding the contemporary status of Puerto Rico.
