About the Conference
On February 17, the Continuing Legal Education department at the University of Texas School of Law is joining with the Texas State Bar Association to present a day-long program (ending at 4 p.m.) on What All Good Law Firms Have in Common: The Basics of Establishing, Organizing, and Operating a Successful Law Practice.
This program will take place in the Eidman Courtroom at the University of Texas School of Law. There is no charge for attendance. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This program brings distinguished Texas attorneys from around the State to The Law School where they will discuss the culture, challenges, rewards, and operational practices of successful law firms of all sizes.
Anyone who intends to practice law will benefit from attending. Those who aim to practice in large law firms will be far more effective associates and partners if they know how their firm is organized and operated. Those who intend to establish their own practices or to join small firms will find the program especially valuable: Leading solo practitioners will tell you how to do it. See program link at left, for complete program details.
This program is being offered to law students; it is also open to members of the Austin Young Lawyers’ Association and the Texas Young Lawyers’ Association.
CLE credit, continental breakfast, and lunch will all be provided at no charge.
UT Law students should RSVP via the EVITES sent to them from their respective Society Program Coordinators. All others, e.g. students from other schools and practicing lawyers should RSVP by sending an email to jlarson@law.utexas.edu
