James A. Besselman

Jim, a shareholder with Underwood, practices in the areas of civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense and employment law. James received his law degree in 1967 from the University of Texas School of Law. He was a member of Phi Delta Phi scholastic honorary fraternity. He is the past chair of the Board of Trustees for the Texas Bar Foundation, past Director and Vice-President of the State Junior Bar of Texas, and past director of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in 1964.
