If you are planning an evening reception or dinner with UT Law students, we recommend that your event begin no earlier than 6:00 p.m. to avoid class conflicts and maximize event attendance.
During the fall and spring, the CSO presents nearly 50 workshops and panel discussions about myriad career opportunities featuring well-established legal practitioners and moderated by UT Law faculty and CSO staff. These panels not only present students with the opportunity to learn more about diverse practice areas but provide networking opportunities with practitioners in a variety of fields.
Receptions are hosted after many of the panel discussions. In addition, the CSO hosts two off-site receptions each year, the "Cocktails & Conversation" Mentor Reception in the fall and the Small & Midsize Firm Happy Hour in the spring.
If you would like to participate in one of our events or are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact David Montoya, Assistant Dean for Career Services, at dmontoya@law.utexas.edu or 512-232-1155.
