  • It's Time to Apply for Financial Aid!

    The new 2010–2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available for completion starting January 1, 2010 at FAFSA on the Web.

    Students applying for financial aid for the semesters listed below should submit the FAFSA by the priority deadline to UT-Austin using our school code, 003658. Meeting the priority deadline provides qualifying students with maximum eligibility for aid.

    Priority Deadline:

    Summer / Fall / Spring - March 31st

    Students should use their Department of Education PIN number to complete a Renewal FAFSA and to provide an Electronic Signature. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PIN number for the FAFSA application, visit the Department of Education's PIN Web Site and "Request a Duplicate PIN." You can also apply for a PIN, activate your PIN, change your PIN, or disable your PIN there.

  • University Co-op Public Interest Awards for Graduating Students

    The University Co-op Public Interest Awards honor students for their commitment to public interest activities during law school and following graduation, along with their academic performance.  “Public interest” includes work in non-profit, legislative, and government settings, and law school and pro bono/volunteer activities.  There will be 5-6 awards of $4000-$5000 each.

    A student must be graduating in May or August 2010 to apply for this award. 

    Application information is available in the Financial Aid Office and at www.utlawjusticecenter.org.  Completed applications must be delivered to the Justice Center (CCJ 1.324) by noon on Friday, March 26, 2010.
