Hour Requirements

First year students are required to take 29 hours, although most enroll for a total of 30 hours. (14 or 16 per semester) The financial aid budget is based on 30 hours of enrollment. Students enrolling in less than 14 hours for either semester will be required to notify the Law School Financial Aid Office for required budget adjustments.

Second and third year students must take 14 hours per semester, 28 for the year in order to receive financial aid. Those taking less than 14 hours require prior approval from The Law School Financial Aid Office.

Summer School

7 hours total (ex: 3 hours during 1st session, 4 hours during 2nd session). Minimum 4 hours or taking only one session requires prior approval from The Law School Financial Aid office.
