Stacy Rogers Sharp teaches Written Legal Advocacy in the fall semester and Brief Writing and Oral Advocacy in the spring semester.

Ms. Sharp joined the faculty after practicing with Baker Botts L.L.P. in its Austin office. Her civil litigation practice has consisted of both appellate and trial-level advocacy and includes employment, intellectual-property, and general commercial matters. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Federal Bar Association, Austin Chapter. Following law school, Ms. Sharp served as law clerk for the Honorable Lee Yeakel, District Judge of the Western District of Texas.

Ms. Sharp is a graduate of the The University of Texas School of Law, where she was a Teaching Quizmaster, a Chancellor, Order of the Coif, and a member of the Texas Law Review. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Nathan Hecht of the Texas Supreme Court. Prior to law school, she taught math and science to middle- and high-school students in Honduras, the South Bronx, and Austin.
